Jennifer’s coaching fundamentally changed who I was for the better, both as a professional and as a person. She entered my life at a very difficult and shifting time. Jennifer acknowledged my crisis and guided me to reflect on the values that I hold and strengths that I have in order to persist through the initial challenge. From there, she found opportunities for me to build my skill set in alignment with those aforementioned values and strengths, demonstrating a clear knowledge of who I was (even more than I knew myself at times). I first met Jennifer in 2014, and I was inspired by Jenn’s authenticity, positivity, and deep thoughtfulness. Jennifer provided me with the space to reflect on my own practice and to determine my own goals, without judging what I chose or imposing a certain set of outcomes. Instead, she created detailed structures and systems to support my development in the direction I wanted to go in, fostering greater buy-in and long-term sustainability. The trusting relationships she nurtured in the type of 1:1 coaching she did with me extended far beyond into group facilitation. I witnessed Jenn lead dozens of training sessions across a variety of lengths (half days to year-long), topics (from diversity and equity to student success in the classroom), group sizes (five to over forty), and intensities.
